Birdie was founded by Dominic Rosato, a local real estate agent who wanted to give small landlords a more personal way to manage their rentals. When you work with Birdie, you're working with him and his team directly.
That's the whole idea. One person who knows you and your property, handling everything from leasing to maintenance, so you don't have to.
Our story
Local experience, a personal approach
Birdie gives small landlords in Jersey City, Hoboken, and North Jersey a management experience that actually feels personal. Instead of a call center and a maze of departments, you get one dedicated manager who handles your leasing, your maintenance, and your rent from start to finish.
For leasing, we work with experienced local brokers to find and screen qualified tenants quickly. In New Jersey it's standard for the tenant to pay the broker fee, so getting your unit leased typically costs you nothing.
We're still growing, and that's the point: as a newer company, we're hungry, responsive, and genuinely invested in getting it right for every owner we work with.
